JAHDEP's governance structure is being assembled to ensure academic rigour, geographic and gender diversity, and sound technical stewardship from the journal's first issue. Appointments are in progress and will be published here as they are confirmed.
Editor-in-Chief
The Editor-in-Chief provides academic leadership for JAHDEP and is ultimately responsible for editorial decisions, journal policy, and the scholarly standing of the journal.

Editorial Board members
The Editorial Board acts as ambassadors for the journal, advises on editorial policy and scope, helps identify themes for future issues, and contributes to the peer review process. JAHDEP is committed to a board that is diverse in geography, gender, and research tradition, to support a broad range of methods and perspectives.

Editorial Management Team
The Editorial Management Team handles the day-to-day running of the journal: overseeing peer review, reconciling reviewer feedback with authors, copy-editing accepted papers, typesetting, and managing proofs.
